During this month of June we celebrate the 23rd anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady Queen of Peace in Medjurgorje. In the beginning the apparitions happened daily and Our Lady repeatedly spoke about how important prayer and fasting are so that we can receive the grace of peace.
The witnesses to the apparitions thought at first that Our Lady was talking about peace to the world. Though when war burst out in old Yugoslavia and brothers started killing one another, faithful people deeply regretted and repented, and said repeatedly:
